MEXICO CITY INITIATIVE

The Mexico City Initiative is a program that was created and managed by the Mexico City Government through the International Affairs Office in collaboration with the cities of Chicago and Los Angeles.Iniciativa logo

Its goal is to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between strategic participants in all three cities, as well as to form a common agenda and increase their visibility in terms of trade, tourism, migration, and culture, among other fields, under a binational vision.

The main activities of The Mexico City Initiative are:

lolFacilitating access to paperwork, government and social services, and programs to our citizens residing in Los Angeles and Chicago.

lolServing as a connecting point to facilitate commercial and cultural relations, setting strategic alliances with entrepreneurs, immigrant leaders, and public servants.

lolPromoting Mexico City as a cutting edge intercultural city.

lolStrengthening the twinning between Los Angeles, Chicago, and Mexico City in the intercultural and hospitable cities network.
