ABOUT US

The International Affairs Office (CGAI, per its Spanish initials) is the entity of the Mexico City Government responsible for strategically planning, organizing and implementing Mexico City’s International Action.

The CGAI is comprised of four Directorates General responsible for carrying out the activities, programs and projects that integrate and promote our capital’s international agenda. These are:

lolGeneral Directorate of Monitoring, Coordination and Liaison.

lolGeneral Directorate of International Vinculation.

lolGeneral Directorate of Protocol and Diplomacy.

lolGeneral Directorate of International Cooperation.

Also, the CGAI serves as headquarters of the Regional Office for Latin America of the Global Fund for Cities Development (FMDV) and the Coordination of the Euro-Latin American Alliance of Cooperation among Cities (AL-LAs Project).
